ANGEL - 2x10 - "REUNION"
WESLEY: "And you... just walked away?"
ANGEL: "No, I walked to my car and then I drove away."
GUNN: "You didn't do anything?"
WESLEY: "You allowed Darla and Drusilla to have free reign."
ANGEL: "I didn't bring either one of them into this. They did."
WESLEY: "You could have stopped them."
ANGEL: "And I will."
CORDELIA: "When? After they've finished off all the people you don't like?"
WESLEY: "Angel, while it's certainly true that these lawyers brought this on themselves - what you did is..."
CORDELIA: "...is wrong."
GUNN: "You went too far."
WESLEY: "We've all been worried about you, and I guess it's fair to say we all share some of the blame. - We should have spoken up sooner."
GUNN: "And louder."
CORDELIA: "You have to change the way you've been doing things. Don't you see where this is taking you?"
WESLEY: "Listen to her! Right now the three of us are all that's standing between you and real darkness."
GUNN: "Best believe that, man."
ANGEL: "I do. You're all fired."
ANGEL - 3x21 - "BENEDICTION"
ANGEL: "You stole my son."
HOLTZ: : "I kept your son alive. You murdered mine."
ANGEL: "I was different then."
HOLTZ: : "Yes. So was I. You feel remorse. You feel remorse yet you can't express it."
ANGEL: "You want me to say I'm sorry? How can I? It wouldn't mean a thing."
HOLTZ: : "It would mean a little. Not much, but it would be something."
ANGEL: "Then I'm sorry. For whatever little it might mean. It's all I've got."
HOLTZ: "Not all. You had a son. So there it is. I thought by depriving you of that son it would allow me some measure of justice. I was wrong."
ANGEL: "Taking Connor from me was never justice. It was vengeance."
HOLTZ: : "Or maybe vengeance is what I do now. Give back what I took."
ANGEL: "What?"
HOLTZ: : "I'm an old man now. I have nothing to offer the boy. You can give him what I can't, his purpose. But every time you look upon his face every time he calls you 'father' you will be reminded of that which you took and can never give back. And if that is vengeance, I find I have no taste for it."
FIREFLY - 1x02 - "BUSHWACKED"
JAYNE: "Reavers ain't men."
BOOK: "Of course they are. Too long removed from civilization, perhaps -- but men. And I believe there's a power greater than men. A power that heals."
MAL: "Reavers might take issue with that philosophy. If they had a philosophy. And if they weren't too busy gnawing on your insides. Jayne's right. Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just... nothing. They got out to the place of nothing. And that's what they became."
FIREFLY - 1x10 - "THE MESSAGE"
JAYNE: "Me, I see a stiff -- one I didn't have to kill myself -- I just get, you know, the urge to do stuff. Work out, run around, get some trim if there's a willin' woman about... not that I get flush from corpses or anything. I ain't crazy."
BOOK: "Makes sense. Looking to feel alive, I would venture."
JAYNE: "For psychology, that ain't half dumb. My kind of life don't last, preacher. So I expect I'm invested in making good sport of it whilst I can."
TRACEY: Uh. Okay. Um, recording... Hi, I guess. It's me. Tracey. This is a message for Zoe, and for Malcolm Reynolds, and I really hope you all are the ones listening to it. Or, I guess I don't. I guess I hope I'm upright and telling you this tale myself, and we're laughing about how stupid I am, but that don't look likely. No, it's more probable I've gotten myself dead, which is a shame if you're me. I'll spare you the boring details, falling in with untrustworthy folk, making a bunch of bad calls... All that matters is I expect to be shuffled off, and you two are the only people I trust to get me where I'm going. Which is home. I'd like my body to be with my folks on St Albans. We got the family plot there, and my Mom and dad deserve to know I died. If you can come up with some heroical lie as to the how, I'd be... no. I'd just like to be able to lie with my kin, and for them to know that's what I wanted. It's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive. You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can. Tell my folks that I'm at peace and all. When you can't run anymore, you crawl, and when you can't do that... well, you know the rest. Thanks, both of you. Oh. Yeah. Make sure my eyes is closed, will you?"
WONDERFALLS - 1x02 - "KARMA CHAMELEON"
JAYE: "What if I only ever rate four words and a digit? What if by the time my mother's next book comes out this sentence hasn't changed?"
JAYE: "In this instance, I believe guilt was my friend. Actually more like my frenemy because now I feel guilty over getting what I wanted."
JAYE: "You may have all my friends snookered, but not me. You're like that girl in that movie who wanted to be that other girl so much that she killed for it!"
BIANCA: ..."Grease?"
JAYE: "Single White Female!"
BIANCA: "N- n- no..."
JAYE: "Yes! Admit it. Are you a grifter? Who're you working for? Is this a plot? Have you been putting hallucinogens in my drinking water?"
BIANCA: "No. I'm st- st- st-"
JAYE: "Stalking me?"
BIANCA: "No. I'm st- st- st-"
JAYE: "Stabbing me?"
BIANCA: "No. I'm st- st- st-"
JAYE: "Stealing my organs after you stab me?"
BIANCA: "No. I'm st- st- st-"
JAYE: "Stitching a skin suit out of my dead corpse after you stab me and steal my organs?"
JAYE: "Daughter Jaye lives in Niagara Falls. Her blurb and life are a work in progress."
WONDERFALLS - 1x06 - "BARREL BEAR"
MAHANDRA: "It's your mom. Very upset. Died a thousand deaths...You haven't called your mother?"
ERIC: "Yes, I have. I call her a lot. I just dial direct into her voice mail and leave messages. What? She's best friends with my wife."
MAHANDRA: "Does your mother know her best friend fellated the bellman in your honeymoon suite?"
JAYE: "How does going over Niagara Falls in a barrel make someone famous?"
MAHANDRA: "Uh, because it's Niagara Falls? Where is your hometown pride? You really are like a Hobbit that hates The Shire."
ERIC: "Wow. That's impressive. You made ruining that poor woman's life actually sound kinda noble."
MAHANDRA: "It is noble. She's protecting the legend for future generations."
MILLIE: "Oh, I like that very much."
MAHANDRA: "I mean, who wants to think some unscrupulous publicity whore lied and slept her way into the history books?"
MILLIE: "Uh..."
MAHANDRA: "That doesn't do anyone any good! But I'll tell you what does -- the story of Millie Marcus and her barrel."
ERIC: "It is sort of the quintessential American tale."
MAHANDRA: "Yes! Exactly. It teaches us there's nothing a person can't do!"
ERIC: "Or nothing a person actually has to do! I mean, look at her. She's one hundred per cent fabrication. She decided what she wanted to be and damn the facts! You don't get much more American than that."
MAHANDRA: "You'd love that, wouldn't you? You'd love it if I just stepped aside and allowed you to destroy one life after another with your truth-covered lies. You may have started this little geriatric war but I'm gonna finish it."
JAYE: "What? What war? Eric, why are you helping? What's gotten into you?"
MAHANDRA: "The spirit of Millie Marcus, that's what."
ERIC: "Don't ask me any questions. I'm really not sure what's happening."
THE X-FILES - 5x08 - "KITSUNEGARI"
MULDER: "I almost killed my partner."
SKINNER: "Mulder, despite that, you prevailed. You won her game."
MULDER: "Then how come I feel like I lost?"
